Here you will find several components that I have created to
produce a piece of art through digital storytelling. Digital storytelling is a creative and fascinating way to tell any story through any perspective and is a useful media tool to supplement any flat information or content you are trying to bring to life. This piece was created as an introduction and overview to a unit I am creating for my Curriculum Development course: Colonial History - Missions and School. Enjoy! |
Story Map.
What is a Story Map? According to Jason Ohler, a story map is a story core (key components of any story) that reflects more plot information and a deeper consideration of story core elements. By the time the story map is complete, the basic emotional flow, as well as the most important plot information of a story, are well drawn and described.

Story Script.
What is a Story Script? In Digital Storytelling In The Classroom, a story script becomes the foundation of the narrative of your digital story. When developing your script, you must consider producing 1-page, double-spaced, size 16 font for every two minutes of your video.

Story Table.
What is a Story Table? Story Tables are specifically designed to address aspects of media grammar called media alignment. Media alignment ensures that the different media in a digital story support rather than conflict the narrative that is heard throughout.
