I was born and raised in Utqiaġvik, Alaska. My parents are Teresa and James. My grandparents are Harry Brower, Sr. and Annie Hopson Brower. I am currently enrolled in the Master's of Arts program in Teaching at the University of Alaska Southeast. I am employed at the North Slope Borough School District where I am also doing my Student Teaching internship.
Whenever I have any spare time, I enjoy learning and practicing the Iñupiaq language and culture, sewing atikłut, baking, and sleeping. I am excited to continue my educational pathway through teaching and look forward to helping strengthen Inuit Education not only within the North Slope, but within the State and globally.
